Burgas

We arrived in Burgas on Wednesday and taught our leadership and marriage seminars on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday nights. This was our third time to teach part of this series of seminars in Burgas. We will be coming at least twice more before we are finished. On Sunday, I preached the sermon for the church, which was fun for me since I don't do it very often any more. During the days, Dani and Stefan Bigalke, who are missionaries with Globe Missions and who live here, were our caretakers. He is German and she is Bulgarian. We really enjoyed getting to know them and Dani was our translator for all of our sessions. They did a great job of showing us around. They took us to another seaside resort area that is older and not so over-built as Sunny Beach. Of course, it was still cold and foggy (not as bad as Varna) so there weren't many people around. We had fun just exploring and talking and having coffee in a local shop. Last night, they brought us to Stara Zagor where we are now so the next post will come from here. Here are pictures of Burgas.
