Back in Sofia Again

I am so glad we are flexible! Sunday, as we were driving to Leesburg to watch our granddaughter's volley ball team before we left on Monday, we got a notice from the airline. Due to the approaching storm, they were allowing ticket changes at no charge. So, we contacted them, got our tickets changed and flew out at 5:00 pm on Sunday. As I am writing this from Sofia, the internet weather shows it to be snowing furiously at Dulles right now! We would have been stuck for sure!! After we made the change, we e-mailed our host at the Casa Farrari where we are staying and told him we would be there a day early. His response was, "Your room will be ready".... and it was! What a great way to start our adventure, having our problems solved by He who walks before us! Here is a picture of Ludmil and Marianna Mandichev standing in Casa Farrari. They are the owners and they and their two girls have become very good friends over the years. This is where we always come to rest for a day or so after the long flight over.
